Joyce P. Palmer
Obituary
Joyce P. Palmer
- Beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Joyce passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on 12/28/2006 after a courageous battle against cancer.
- Born Joyce Paula Mazzella on 2/9/1938 to Delia (d) and Phillip Mazzella (d) in Newark, New Jersey. She graduated valedictorian from Bloomfield High School and attended Northwestern University where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Journalism in 1959. While at Northwestern she met Geoffrey (Jeff) M. Palmer (d). They married in 1960 and settled in San Jose in 1963 where they raised their three children. A dedicated mother, Joyce felt great pride from her family's accomplishments.
- Joyce's desire to help people lead her to Santa Clara University where she earned her Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1985. In January of 1987 she received her Marriage Family Therapist License and opened a private counseling practice where she continued to see clients until her passing. She also worked as a counselor for the San Jose Unified School District and Pine Hill School. As a counseling supervisor at Almaden Valley and Teen & Family Counseling Centers and a Counseling Psychology Practicum Supervisor at Santa Clara University Joyce shared her passion and knowledge of counseling with her interns and students.
- Joyce was generous to family and friends, giving to charities and a fond supporter of the arts. Joyce's kind, warm, welcoming presence always led to a home full of family and friends. A renaissance woman, Joyce enjoyed traveling, especially to Italy, and season tickets to the ballet, theater, symphony, Giants and her beloved 49ers. Joyce's greatest thrill in life came with the births of her grandchildren and she loved nothing more than being a grandma and spending time with them.
- Joyce was a loving mother to her children Gail, Donna, Grant, and his wife Nancy and grandmother to Joya and Miles. Joyce was devoted to her brother Roger Mazzella, long time companion, Galvin Jackson, sister-in-law Lynne Palmer, nieces, nephews and cousins. Joyce had a loving and caring nature that endeared her as a mother figure to many. Joyce will be remembered for the love she gave to everyone and deeply missed by all.
- Private services to be held. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in memory of Joyce P. Palmer to:
- The Lung Cancer Alliance at www.lungcanceralliance.org or Almaden Valley Counseling Center 6529 Crown Blvd. #D San Jose, Ca. 95120.

Vision of the ten lamps
The Lord said to me: Half of those that say they know me in the time of the end are liars.
They have never been lit with the fire from heaven.
They are burning with the strange fires of Mystery Babylon.
They only pretend to know me.
Their lamp shall be put out in outer darkness and there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
But those who are Mine shall shine forever and burn with the brightness of my glory as the stars. For they are lit from My throne and fed with my oil and shall never go out.

ya Bob wiley set the standard
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion. 2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings.
Thomas Patterson was hired -- w/o any technical skill or management ability -- but bob wiley hired him as an accountant-- so he could "cook the books"
and Thomas W Bannach-- said every person he hired was a manager and you could and would lie to him and tell everyone he was a great manager, and you could lie about your co workers and miss-lead them, defraud and slander your co workers-- a little bit-- every day-- and as Bob wiley training john ten brink-- just so you don't get them in trouble--
Thomas Bannach said "
1..... it was A--OK to lie --cheat ---defraud--- libel slander---- miss-lead
and assassinate --the-- personal ---character--- because -- --
because all companies are all corrupt
Dean tripp said and it dosen't matter if you do a good job or a bad job--
Hil sybesma said stealing and embezzling -- is ok-- because it's called "working the system.
Bob Wiley set the standard for a management style straight out of Hell--
Bob wiley said it was ok to lie to him about what was going on -- and slander and defraud you co workers a little bit-- so long as you didn't get him introuble..
John TenBrink-- always did this to his co workers-- he would miss lead them and defraud them -- and tell that he would "talk" to Good --old-- Bob--
Thomas Bannach went a bit farther down the road to Hell..
He said every one was the manager like him---
and That it is normal to lie, cheat, defraud, miss- lead, slander your co worker -- and embezzle a little bit-- because EVERY ONE HE KNOW IS LIKE THAT !!
SO, LYING CHEATING STEALING AND SLANDERING IS NORMAL,
And you were supposted to tell every on that he sure is a nice guy
and as ronald wiley said -- when he was the west coast manager -- he is a GOOD liar like his daddy--
The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men.
Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children.
And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers.
And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.
